Bedding!!!

The crib bedding has arrived! We do not have a crib to put the bedding in but at least it is here. :)  Here is a sneak peak...I am crossing my fingers that Ryan will put together the crib this week. More pictures to come!

Just the beginning...

Baby prep is in full swing. Ryan and my mom started painting the nursery today and I am so excited.   Tomorrow the second coat of paint will go up and soon the furniture will be added. Here are a few pictures of the progress as of this afternoon.

Starting the blog...

Here we go!

So, Ryan does not want me to start this blog. He doesn't understand the need and certainly does not know what I will write about. To be fair, I am not really sure what I am going to write about either but for now I figure it is an easy way to keep people up to date with the baby prep and very soon, up to date with the baby.  I do a lot of communicating via Facebook but due to the fact that there are many people in my life who do not use Facebook but still want to know what is going on, I figured this blog was the perfect solution.
I am sure you are now thinking to yourself..."I wonder what is going on with the baby prep and I hope she tells me something fun"... Sadly, there is not much to share in the baby prep world yet.  My mom and Ryan are in the middle of painting our bedroom and the nursery which means, hopefully, very soon I will have pictures of a nursery to share with you all.
For now, I will leave you with the following pictures, so you have a firm understanding of just how far from ready we are for this baby. :)
