Four one year olds and a three year old...these pictures are hilarious. Santa didn't know what hit him. We are photos 548-568.

Melts my heart
I have been sick the last two days which means Ryan has been on full-time parenting duty. While Ryan is a fabulous dad and has done a great job talking care of Emmett and I, Emmett is having some serious "mom mom" withdrawals. I spent the second half of today upstairs and Emmett needed to be next to me at all times. In order to prevent Emmett from sitting on me I decided to turn on some cartoons and encourage him to sit next to me. After about five minutes, Emmett grabbed on to my hand. So sweet. He sat with me for about 15 minutes (which is a record for my child) and I loved every minute of it. This little guy sure knows how to make me smile.

And Christmas has begun
After living in Tacoma my entire life I figured I had experienced most of what this city has to offer, I was wrong. Since having Emmett, I have discovered so many news things about Tacoma. Tonight, for the first time, I attended the Tacoma Tree Lighting event. Ten adults, one three year old, four toddlers and two babies headed to The Hub for dinner and then to the Pantages for this grand event. Ok, so the tree lighting was kind of lame, but the event was fun and our friends made it even better. Chelsey, our photographer, was taking pictures and I am sure hers are much better then my cell phone pictures but these will have to be enough for now.

Sometimes the cuteness is just to much.
I wish these were blurry but they are still super cute. This little moment happened at the YMCA today on the way to family gym.

My parents and I
Since Ryan wasn't feeling well, I had the chance to go to the Sounders game with just my parents. It seemed fine until we sat down and I was in the middle like an eight year old. Instead of changing seats we opted to take this picture. I sure am lucky to have such wonderful parents.
'Tis the season to be merry!
Typically I have a strong, "No Christmas Before Thanksgiving" rule but this year we broke it for the chance to get Emmett's picture taken with an awesome Santa. Sensational Santa is a fabulous event put on by Special Families of Pierce County. I have volunteered at this event in years past and this year they gave me the privilege of coming with Emmett to get his picture taken. Santa is so nice and wonderful with all kids. This event is truly magical and I am so glad I still get to be a part of it. Here are the pictures. Emmett was not overly cooperative but Santa and his elves were very patient and I am thrilled with the pictures they captured. They far exceed my expectations (Emmett was very cranky). I love them!
Side note: To Grandma's and Great Grandma's, let me know which one you would like a copy of and in what size. :)

19 months
This month's pictures were particularly amusing. Emmett had some major mood swings and we managed to capture them all.
Happy as long as the rocking horse is involved.
Not so happy...full on tantrum.
Needing to take a break to read a little Wiggles.
Ok...now I will be cute!
"Fist bump the bear Daddy!"
Happy as long as I can sit on the Boppy pillow....
where has this thing been for the last 7 months???
Night, Night!
One more chance Mom, I am being cute again!
Elephant sounds!
Ok...I am done.

Cousin time!
Alli and Andrew spent a few hours at our house tonight and the kids had a great time. Emmett loves being around his older cousins and Alli and Andrew think it is great fun to play with "Baby Emmett". I tried to get a good picture of all three of them together but I waited to long and Emmett was not cooperating so I took what I could get.
