Baby

Emmett spent a short afternoon with his buddy Claire and discovered how fun carrying around a baby could be. Since we have a boy only home, baby dolls are not in abundance so we had to improvise. Introducing...Mickey Baby, we will see how long Mickey Baby sticks around :)

Happy 2013!!!

Ok, yes, I know we are 29 days into the month but we did celebrate New Years Eve and I had to share. This year (thanks to my brother being out of town) we got to ring in the new year at my parent's lake house. We had a blast! It was insanity with 7 kids under 3 but hey, that is what being a parent is all about. I tried to take pictures but, like I said, it was insane so I only got a few good ones. Sadly, I did not get any pictures of the crew that spent the night (3 one year old boys and an infant) but hey, it was it is :). These pictures cracked me up, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. I feel like they really capture the moment.

I am pretty sure we actually missed midnight by a few minutes but, thankfully,  there were some fireworks to let us know that 2013 had arrived.

We had such a great night. I hope we get to do it again next year but I am afraid that we had so much fun that we may lose our rights to the house.



21 months...better late then never

Sometimes life just gets crazy and no matter how good your intentions are, things just don't happen. Well, that's what happened with the 21 month photo shoot this month. We squeezed it in one day before he turned 22 months.  So here it is. Enjoy!
