Backyard fun!
I love Craigslist! I found this great Little Tikes climber on Craigslist last week and we picked it up on Wednesday. It is a huge hit! Emmett quickly figured out how to climb it and I think it will be a great toy this summer.
Emmett also loved exploring the backyard.
He has not spent time back here before.
We are slowly creating a great area for him to play. Emmett loves to be outside, now we just need some consistent warm weather.
The lawn mower was the last exciting thing of the day. I love this picture of Emmett with his mower while he watches Ryan. He sure does love his daddy!

Big Boy Haircut
We took Emmett to get his second haircut but his first "official" trip to the salon. He did SO well. He sat on my lap perfectly and did not fuss at all. He even gave Brooke a little snuggle at the end. All and all, it was a great experience.
A big thanks to Brooke at the Beach House Salon (who by the way, has been cutting my hair for almost 10 years), you are the best!
The next morning...
I was glad to see that the haircut did not solve the bed head issue :)
A walking man!
We had a very exciting night in the Hovey house. Emmett FINALLY took some consistent steps. This moment in time went on for about 15 minutes, we even got a great video but I can't seem to get it to upload. This picture will have to be enough for now. I promise to work on the video again tomorrow!

Tacoma Children's Museum
Nana and Bopa (aka Terre and Bruce) bought Emmett an annual pass to the Children' Museum for his birthday. We love it! Emmett had such a great time yesterday. He loved exploring and being able to get into everything (he is not a fan of the word no). We can't wait to go back!
