Two year check up

Emmett went for his two year check up. He did great. He was weighed, measured, poked and everything else you can imagine. The final verdict: he is a perfectly healthy little boy. Good news. The highlight of the appointment was the Mickey Mouse stamp. It takes so little to make the day of a two year old.
Here are his two year stats:
Height: 36 inches 85% percentile
Weight: 28 lbs 13 oz 65% percentile
Head: 20 90% percentile.

Baby's first Happy Meal

For the first time in a LONG time I decided that I was not going to cook dinner and instead drive thru McDonalds. I was worn out from the day, Ryan went into the work early and I was already out so it just made sense. I must say, I very rarely eat McDonalds and it was tasty (although stomach kind of hurts as I write this). I am not sure how Emmett felt about it. He seemed to like doing something different and he loved his French fire but overall I am not sure how impressed he was. These are the best pictures I could get to capture the moment.

Working hard

We are really struggling with weaning Emmett off of his bottles. He loves milk but is being very stubborn when it comes to drinking it out of anything but a bottle. We made have made some progress with the Smith Brothers half pints. Lets see how long this lasts.

Another morning at the zoo

One would think that I would stop taking pictures every time we go to the zoo due to the fact that we go pretty often...well I won't. As long as Emmett continues to do cute things I will be forced to document them. It is a good thing my blog only has a handful of readers and I know they love my endless pictures ;)

This sleepy Sounders fan fell asleep with his glow stick close by. You never know when you may need to cheer on the team in the middle of the night.

More Sounders fun

This is game two of the season. It is likely that Emmett won't go to all the games so the weekly Sounders post won't go on for to long. Tonight's game was at 5:00 which is perfect and in-spite of Emmett refusing to nap today we can a great time. I was a little worried he was going to be a mess.
A ride on Buddha's shoulders, French fries and a visit from his cousins makes Emmett one happy (although slightly sleepy) little boy.

Only Gaga would let Emmett stand at her counter while she feeds him peanut butter out of the jar. Is it any wonder Emmett asks to go to "Gaga house, Buddha house" several times a day?
