My mom has been waiting exactly 15 months for Emmett to eat his first star cookie. The "star cookie" is my mom's famous sugar cookie. I held off as long as possible and finally (with some major peer pressure from Heather and my mom) gave in to the cookie. Emmett LOVED it! I still plan to limit his cookie/candy/sugar intake but watching the joy on Emmett's face (as well as my mom's face) was well worth breaking the rules just this once.
