Hawaii Girls Reunion

As a junior in college, I got to spend the month of January in Hawaii for a "class".  This "class" consisted of spending the entire month in Waikiki, while "teaching" in Aiea. I am using all the the "quotes" because in all reality my parents (Sorry Mom and Dad) paid for me to hang out in Hawaii with three other great girls.  Whitney, Courtney, Lindsay and I spent the month together in a hotel room and truly enjoyed ourselves.  Since our trip, the four of us have managed to find time to get together five times.  We always enjoy catching up and, most importantly, eating. :) For this trip we decided to meet up in McMinnville. Lindsay LOVES taking pictures and she insisted on taking pictures at Linfield.  It was super helpful to have Ryan along to take all of the pictures (Thanks Ryan). I rarely post about anything excpet for baby on the blog but I thought I would share the pictures of the Hawaii Girls.  It was wonderful to see each of them and I hope we have another reunion in our future very soon.

I don't want to disappoint the Emmett fans, so here are two pictures of the baby. I could not resist a Linfield onesie from the bookstore.  He is the cutest Linfield supporter I have ever seen.

So grown up

Emmett spent some time in the excersaucer today for the first time,
even Wilson joined the fun.

Some joint attention happening here.

He is still a little small but I am sure as he grows into it he will discover all the fun.

Starting to like it!

Super happy!

All my boys together. :)

Randomness

This is an array of random pictures from the last month. There is no rhyme or reason. I am to tired to add anymore details. :)

Happy Fourth of July

And the family traditions continue...Emmett joined the annual Fourth of July party at my parent's lake house this year and it is as if he had been attending for years.  He was all decked out in red, white and blue and enjoyed the day full of friends and family.  I am TERRIBLE at remembering to take pictures at events like this so below are the pictures I managed to take. I hope to get some other pictures off my mom's camera in the near future.

All ready to go!

Emmett with his Buddha. Emmett's face cracks me up.

The lake house has hit an all new high level of white trash. Nothing like a broken toilet with the instructions written right on the toilet.

Emmett and Cole hanging out.

Emmett loves his crazy Aunt Cheri!

Jack!

Emmett with his Great Grandma A

Dancing with Uncle Kevin.

Crazy girls!

Everyone making ice cream with Uncle Dan.

Wilson and Brie loving the lake.

Three Months Old

Another month has gone by which means another photo shoot happened in the Hovey house. We had to do two different photo shoots since our dear little Emmett did not cooperate during the first one so these pictures were taken at 3 months old and 3 months and 2 weeks old. I love them all.   Enjoy!
