Fun with Claire

Emmett and I had the pleasure of "babysitting" Claire this week. I say "babysitting" because really, having her over makes my life easier. Emmett and Claire love each other and play very nicely together. Since, apparently, I had nothing better to do, I documented their afternoon together.

 

While Claire ate some lunch, Emmett waited patiently at her feet for her to finish. Seriously, he stood here the whole time she ate.

 

While Emmett had some lunch, Claire sat and colored on the Magnadoodle.

 

Emmett took a little to long to eat, so Claire had her own dance party after she was done with her drawing.

 Emmett and Claire both have elves, Alan and Popcorn respectivly. They spent some time bonding over this. First, they read the book..

 

 

and then they watched the movie. Emmett LOVES this movie. Claire wasn't so sure at first but she settled in nicely.

 

 

 

I think Claire was a little sleepy.

 

After The Elf Story, Emmett went down for a nap.

Claire took this opportunity to yell at the dog...

 

and wear Emmett's Mickey slippers.

 

We hope Claire comes to visit again soon!
